Innovative Digestive Industries is hiring remote lab technicians. No experience, no qualification, no commute. Most new technicians complete their first inspection within six days of applying.
The whole process is designed to be completed at home, on your own schedule, without speaking to anybody.
Four minutes. No CV, no interview, no references. We ask for an address and a surface.
A microscope, slide stock, reagents, a work mat, gloves and disposal bags. Delivered in a plain outer box with no branding of any kind.
A ninety-minute online course followed by a short assessment. You may retake it as many times as you need to.
Samples arrive by post in sealed transport units. You inspect, you score against the chart, you submit. Payment is weekly.
There is no shift, no minimum and no maximum. Technicians who treat it as a full working week earn the most, and technicians who do four on a Sunday evening are welcome to keep doing exactly that.
Rates are the same in all forty-one regions. We do not adjust for local cost of living, which we consider fairer.
Payment is weekly, on Fridays, with no minimum threshold. We have never missed a Friday.
$3.10 per completed inspection. An inspection takes a trained technician between nine and fourteen minutes. Figures shown are gross and before recovery. Technicians are self-employed and are responsible for their own arrangements.
This is the part people are most surprised by. The instrument in the kit is the same one used in our regional facilities, because we buy them in one order.
Leave the illumination base plugged in and the instrument on the work surface between sessions. It calibrates continuously against ambient conditions and a cold start will cost you about twenty minutes of your evening.
Replacement consumables are sent automatically. You will not need to order anything, and there is nothing to order.
Kits ship in an unmarked outer box. Technicians have told us this matters to them and we have never changed it.
A certified workspace. The requirements are a flat surface, a window and a door — all three, and nothing else.
We are not looking for scientists. We are looking for people with somewhere to put the instrument and an hour or two in the evening. Everything technical is in the course, and the course assumes you know nothing.
We do not ask for a qualification, a DBS or equivalent check, a reference, or proof of anything beyond the address.
Chronological age is the number on your passport. Colonic age is the number we return. For most people the two do not match, and the gap is the whole reason the test exists.
A member orders a kit, provides a sample, and posts it back in a sealed transport unit. It is inspected by a certified technician in the member's own region — something members tell us they find reassuring — and scored against a twenty-two point chart. Results in six days.
78% of first results come back above chronological age. We publish that figure because we are often asked about it, and because it is the figure that brings people back.
$89 per test. Most members test quarterly. The quarterly plan is the only plan we promote, and it renews.
Peer review of the twenty-two point chart is scheduled. The chart is reviewed internally every year by the person who wrote it.
From members, by post, in a sealed transport unit. You will not know whose it is and they will not know whose kitchen it reached.
Yes. 71% of our technicians do. The work mat is sized for a standard table and the whole kit packs back into the box in under two minutes.
No. The ninety-minute course is the qualification, and you can retake the assessment as often as you like.
Remote inspection is not currently a regulated activity in any jurisdiction in which we operate. We hold ourselves to an internal standard, which is considerably stricter, and which we wrote.
It is transferred to another group division. The prepaid return label in your kit is already addressed and you do not need to write anything on it.
That is a personal decision and we do not require it. The outer box is unmarked and the instrument looks like an instrument.
At any time, with no notice. Any kit value still outstanding at that point becomes payable, which is why we recommend reaching recovery first.
“I did one in my first week and forty in my fourth. The microscope is genuinely good equipment and it is mine at the end.”
